Our beautiful family Manoir La Croix de La Jugie is the perfect venue for your low-key, relaxed, small wedding. With spaces both inside for you and your guests to celebrate your marriage and dance up a storm, our warm, personal touches will make this a destination wedding to remember
A family venue with a personal touch
The Manoir and its estate is a very special place for weddings, with stunning views, secret copses and sweeping lawns. Weddings usually start with drinks in the courtyard, the covered terrace or the lawns, which each make for beautiful spaces to gather and mingle with a glass of champagne. We are perfect for small gatherings of 70 or fewer, but the barn can comfortably seat up to 90. Then, once the tables are pulled back, there's plenty of space to let your hair down. For higher numbers of guests, we recommend overspill to the covered terrace or hiring a marquee.
During the high season, our minimum rental is one week, so throughout your stay, you and your guests have freedom to explore the estate, including our lawns, swimming pool also our more rustic 6 acre field, and the local area. Combine your celebration with a holiday with your nearest and dearest. If you would rather a long weekend, we may accommodate this in the mid or low season.
The Manoir sleeps up to 22 in 8 bedrooms, with 6 bathrooms between them; so it’s the perfect place for the wedding party to stay before and after the wedding. We can also organise extra dormitories for kids in the barn or The Old Sheep Shed Cottage and camping for an extra cost, though there are plenty of gites, B&Bs and hotels within a short drive for your guests too.

Your personal touch
Bunting galore, family members lending a hand and painted signs are the order of the day at weddings at the Manoir. For inspiration, think Ruffled blog and Rock My Wedding. The hipster wedding does country bumpkin in the best possible way. The house and its interiors are the perfect backdrop with their mix of vintage and upcycled pieces, personalised design and organically curated rooms and collections.
Your Own suppliers
Unlike most venues, we are happy for you to use your own suppliers, or cater yourselves for your perfect celebration. We have a list of trusted local contacts but you are free to bring in your own choices for all aspects of your celebration. We ask that you liaise with us for any visits by you or your suppliers to familiarise yourself with the venue layout.
