Directions
Driving From Limoges
From Limoges Bellegarde airport, take the D941 towards Limoges and go anti clockwise around the Limoges ring road (green signs) towards Perigueux, you'll also pick up signs for the A20 (direction Toulouse). After 7km, you'll come to take the A20 at jct 36, follow the A20 until Jct 39 (St Priest Ligoure, St Paul, St Hilaire Bonneval). Follow signs for 10km to St Priest Ligoure. Once in the village take the first left at the Church (D31 to Coussac Bonneval & Chateau Chervix) and follow this road for 1km or so. You'll go over the Ligoure river, bend to the left by a ruined farmhouse, bend to the right sharply up a hill, and then left again. The road continues to wiggle for the remainder of the journey to the Manoir. You'll pass a couple of houses called Tousvents on the way. The sign for La Croix de La Jugie is on the right hand side of the road and the Manoir is opposite this sign; take the first left after the sign and drive 50metres up the lane to the driveway entrance on the left.
Driving From Paris
Follow the A20 until Jct 39 (St Priest Ligoure, St Paul, St Hilaire Bonneval). Follow signs for 10km to St Priest Ligoure. Flights
Our nearest airport is Limoges Bellegarde (Ryanair or Flybe) 35 mins away. You can also fly to Brive la Gaillarde (Ryanair) 60 mins away, Angouleme 120 mins away, Bergerac (Ryanair or Flybe) 120 mins away, or Bordeaux (multiple airlines including BA) 180 mins away. Although the furthest, the autoroute drive from Bordeaux is relatively quick and very easy.
Train
We have two small stations very close to the Manoir: Nexon and Pierre Buffiere but the best mainline station for connecting to Paris is in Limoges. Trains to Paris take 3 hours and from Paris the Eurostar to London is just over 2 hours.
Car
We are a 7-9 hour drive to Calais depending on traffic as the best route is via Paris (not through the centre). Going via Rouen avoids the tolls on the autoroute but is slower. Good if you like a more scenic journey and stopping off on the way. You can hire cars from Limoges airport and train station, please book in advance as they are very popular in the summer months.
There is plenty of parking!
